In addition, he is the author of Literary Criticism: From Plato to the Present: An Introduction (2011) and the editor of The Cambridge History of Literary Criticism: Vol. VI: The Nineteenth Century (2013) and the fifth edition of the Penguin Dictionary of Literary Terms and Literary Theory (2014). He is currently at work translating the Qur’an into English for Liveright.
