That album made its way into the hands of Sir Paul McCartney and impressed him enough that Paul asked John to be the guitarist on his jazz based record, Kisses on the Bottom. Recently Paul sent a letter to John asking him to record some of the McCartney songbook in the Pizzarelli style. Sir Paul himself will be involved in the song selection for the album. 1.
