She acquired a Master’s degree from National Taitung University in Children’s Literature. Tsen likes to think of creative writing as a capturing of words; she captures the words for illustrators to draw pictures to. Tsen hopes to one day be able to illustrate herself the words that she captures. She has been awarded the Guo Zheng Chen Children's Literature Award, the Mandarin Daily News Reed Paper Award, the Nan-Ying Literature Prize, the Taiwan Literature Prize and the Good Books for Everyone Award Best Children’s Books of the Year. 繪者簡介繪者 /黃雅玲英國劍橋藝術學院童書繪本插畫學系碩士，作品曾入選義大利波隆那插畫展。已出版《馬克的完美計畫》、《來自監獄的信》等書。生於臺南新營。英國劍橋藝術學院童書繪本插畫學系碩士。主要以水彩、不透明水彩、色鉛筆、拼貼和電腦繪圖技法創作。喜歡利用空檔與閒暇寫生，藉由生活經驗說故事；想畫的東西不是讓人覺得很厲害的，而是細膩且能產生共鳴的創作。作品曾入選義大利波隆那插畫展。已出版《馬克的完美計畫》等書。個人網站：http://www.facebook.com/yaling.jade Ya-Ling Huang received her Master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge University.
