This issue looks at the Catalonian firm's past decade of work and features detailed profiles of no less than 20 projects, plus an extensive conversation with the architects and an essay by Philip Ursprung. Many houses are included among the selection of recent projects, along with a student residence at the Vallès School of Architecture, Mas Geli Winery, New Barcelona Central Archives, ICTA-ICP Research Centre at UAB, social housing in Gavá, and the La Lleialtat Santsenca Civic Centre, plus renovation projects that include private homes and a theatre rehabilitation. This monograph is dedicated to the work carried out by Harquitectes between 2010 and 2020, a study founded by the Catalan architects David Lorente, Josep Ricart, Xavier Ros and Roger Tudas in 2000. David Lorente Ibáñez (Granollers, Barcelona, 1972) graduated from the ETSA de Vallès in 2000. Josep Ricart Ulldemolins (Cendoya del Vallès, Barcelona, 1973) served as Associate Professor in the Department of Projects at ETSA Vallès (UPC) in 2005. From this year to 2009, I have carried out research tasks at the Center for Research and Services for Local Administration, linked to ETSAV. From 2010 to 2015 I have worked as a visiting professor at the UPC Foundation, ESARQ (UIC), The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture and the Escola Politècnica Superior of the University of Girona. Xavier Ros Majó (Sabadell, Barcelona, 1972) graduated in 1998 from ETSAV. He worked as an associate professor in the Projects Department of the ETSAB (UPC) in 2010, and has attended the Porto Academy'15 in Portugal and the Escola Politècnica Superior of the University of Girona as a visiting professor. He also created in 2010 the blog ' Arquitectures234.blogspot.com'. Roger Tudas Galí (Terrasa, Barcelona, 1973) obtained the title of architect at the ETSAV in 1999. From 2004 to 2009 I have worked as a Construction Professor at the ETSA de La Salle in Barcelona, and then as Associate Professor in the Construction Department of the ETSA Vallès (UPC). He was a visiting professor in the 2013/14 academic year at the 'Umea Universitet School of Architecture', Umea, Sweden. Since 2019 he has been a professor at the PTZ Workshop at the ETSA Vallès (UPC).
